Article: Orlando Business Journal – Introducing OBJ’s 2020 Women Who Mean Business
Central Florida has a strong group of businesswomen who are helming public industry, private sector and community-related success.
This year, Orlando Business Journal’s 2020 Women Who Mean Business Awards will honor 21 of Central Florida’s top female leaders for their career achievements as well as the impact they’ve had on the local community in the last year. The honorees include women from a variety of industries — ranging from finance to nonprofit — in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia and Brevard counties. Each of the women selected was nominated by peers and colleagues who spoke to their business acumen, work ethic, civic involvement and individual achievements.
OBJ‘s judging committee this year also chose three women for special awards:
- Businesswoman of the Year
- Legacy Award
- Publisher’s Award
